Joshua (Josh) J. Davis is a policing scholar with experience in law enforcement and teaching. He promotes advancements in policing through research, education, and practical experience.

​

Josh currently serves as the Student Representative & Social Media Chair for the Policing Section Executive Board of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS). He is also just completed a term as the Vice President of the Criminal Justice & Criminology Graduate Student Association (GradCATS) at Texas State University. He also currently serves as Peer Reviewer for the Journal of School Violence and the Jounral Criminal Justice Education.
